Pretty Bird or Birdman or the Bird is a mashed up Big Bird mask the turns the wearer into a silent, staring force of nature. It's actually pretty impossible to speak with this thing on and certainly hard to look at someone who is wearing it.
The Bird is actually a Native American shaman that was abducted from his wolf-skin cradle at an extremely early age by Augustus Billingsworth and his hunting party. The psychical trauma of this incident is what is believed to have given the Bird such extraordinary spiritual power.
