Captain Clothing was a short lived music persona created by Winston Cook-Wilson . Sometimes seen as the seminal output of the Gay D era, sometimes seen as the greatest influence upon that era. Winston has since abandoned and disowned the persona after its adoption by KDO. The first and last Captain Clothing album, "Doing the Grownup" was released in 2008 on Dead Aardvark/Clevi Cloverdoo Records.
